A regular pair of  tight fitting hunting gloves was used to create the hands. First, I added masking tape finger extentions. The tape was crumpled into long rolls and taped to the glove. This was done because the Creature's hands are much larger than a mere human hand. Then, I put the gloves on and spread my fingers out as far as possible. I then taped a piece of tin foil on to the back of the glove while my fingers were in this position. Fingertips were taped in place, and when the glove was taken off you had a widely outstretched glove. Liquid latex rubber was painted over this whole palm and between finger area of tinfoil, and after 8-10 coats, the tinfoil was removed and a webbed hand began to appear.

Next, Sculpey plastic clay, available from craft stores, was used to sculpt an individual finger of the Creature. This too was set on tin foil, and covered in plaster of paris. When set, The clay was pulled out of the plaster and I now had a mold that liquid latex rubber could be painted into. This same technique was used for the back of the hand, and fins on the back, arms, hands, and legs. Sculpey clay was then molded into claws, baked, and cemented on the glove using liquid latex rubber.
